DRACULA’S DAUGHTERS VS. THE SPACE BRAINS Now Available on iTunes

Ghost Works LLC announced today that their latest film, Dracula’s Daughter’s vs. the Space Brains, has been picked up for distribution by National Lampoon. The award-winning short film, starring Neil Patrick Harris , Aprella, and Erica Taylor, is now available for download on iTunes.

From the producers that brought you Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Dracula’s Daughters vs. the Space Brains takes the classic tale of the vampire and launches it into space. Two vampire sisters, Marketa and Marya, are the stars of a ballet troupe touring small towns across America…the perfect cover to feed on the men who attend. But when a meteor crashes to earth, and an alien life form infects and possesses an entire town, Marketa and Marya discover they have bitten off more than they can chew. Now Marketa must find untainted human blood to save her sister before her brain hatches from her head and flies away. Will she make it? Or has the sun set for the final time on the realm of the vampire?

Directed by Frank Ippolito and Ezekiel Zabrowski (the & Tellers and the Growth), produced by Frank Ippolito and Peter Podgursky, executive produced by Teller (of Penn and Teller) and the Chiodo Bros (Killer Klowns, Elf, Team America).

It was pouring rain, and they were in Apocalypse Now! mode — dripping in ponchos and grinning like maniacs, while actors whipped around on cranes and threw themselves into the mud. When I saw the movie, that stormy mud-heap was a gorgeous creepy supernatural forest and those actors were flying and ripping their faces off. And it was all on that perfect razor edge between comedy and horror. Film school brats, eat your hearts out.”
